These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of hotrossplay.com (the “Site”), an editorial publication covering the slot game Hot Ross by Hacksaw Gaming and Canadian-facing online casinos. By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

1. Editorial Nature of the Site

HotRossPlay is an independent editorial publication. We publish reviews, analysis, how-to guides, and comparison content. We are not an online casino, betting operator, payment processor, or gambling service. We do not accept deposits, process wagers, issue winnings, or hold player funds. All real-money gambling activity referenced on the Site takes place at third-party casino operators, whose own terms and conditions apply.

2. Eligibility and Age Restriction

The Site contains gambling-related editorial content. You may access it only if:

4. Affiliate Relationships

This commission is paid by the casino and does not increase any cost to you.

We disclose the existence of these affiliate relationships in good faith. Editorial coverage — including ratings, criticisms, warnings, and recommendations — is determined independently of commission structures. 5. Intellectual Property

All editorial content on the Site — including text, layout, original images, and the synthesised player review profiles — is the property of HotRossPlay or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You may:

  • View and read the content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Share links to Site pages on social media or in personal communication.
  • Quote brief excerpts (up to 100 words) with attribution and a link back to the source page.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of the content without prior written permission.
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Site by automated means.
  • Use Site content to train machine learning or AI models without explicit licence.
  • Remove attribution, copyright notices, or affiliate disclosures.

Brand names, logos, and trademarks belonging to Hacksaw Gaming, casino operators, and payment providers are the property of their respective owners and are used on the Site solely for editorial reference under fair-use principles.

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including casino operators reached via /go/ redirects. We do not control or endorse the content, terms, or practices of those third parties. Once you leave HotRossPlay by clicking an outbound link, the destination site’s terms and privacy policy govern your interaction. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

7. No Warranty

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither HotRossPlay nor its editor, contributors, or affiliates shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Reliance on any content published on the Site.
  • Gambling losses incurred at any operator referenced on the Site.
  • Interaction with any third-party site reached via outbound link.

Our total cumulative liability to any user, regardless of cause, shall not exceed CAD $100.

10. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Interfere with any other user’s access to the Site.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) other than well-behaved search engine indexers.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review the Terms periodically.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
